We need to rediscover the multifold aspects of the Holy Spirit who is our helper, our comforter, our teacher, our instructor and our reminder. What we need to be more than overcomers, is not just information, but revelation. Just say this with me right now:
Lord give me information, inspiration, impartation and revelation from the Holy Spirit.
1 Corinthians 12:4-7 says:
4 There are [a]diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit. 5 There are differences of ministries, but the same Lord. 6 And there are diversities of activities, but it is the same God who works [b]all in all. 7 But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to each one for the profit of all:
You see, the Bible talks of diversities of gifts of the Holy Spirit, differences of ministries of the Holy Spirit, manifestation of the spirit and the working of the Holy Spirit. Evidently, there is much to learn about the Holy Spirit. May we take step forward today in Jesus Name.
There are three things I want you to learn today:
When you seek the Holy Spirit, you seek God. Because the Holy Spirit is to you what Jesus would have been to you if he was living physically with you on earth today. Like God, the Holy Spirit is omniscient (He knows everything), omnipresent (He is everywhere), he is eternal. Seeking the Holy Spirit is seeking God in your life in a more personal way. Actually, the ONLY way you can seek God is to seek the Holy Spirit.
The second thing I want you to know is that your life depends on your relationship with the Holy Spirit. The Apostle Paul in his final words to the Corinthians says: “The Communion of the Holy Spirit be with you”. (2 Cor 13.14). Being your helper and your teacher, He will guide you in all the truth, and when you know the truth, you shall be free.
Finally, I want you to know that you can hear the voice of the Holy Spirit. You do not need to be a minister to hear His voice. He guides you by speaking to you. He teaches you by speaking to you. He speaks to you about the deep things of God. He communicates the revelation of God to you. As you know more about the Holy Spirit, you will know more of God Himself.
So, what shall you do today? Start asking God to speak to you, to commune with you, and He will show up. Please repeat this with me again today:
